I'd immediately classify it as severe-duty service. In North Georgia and the tri-state mountains, you're not just towing—you've got hills, stop-and-go traffic, job sites, and hot summer weather. That's much harder on a transmission than highway commuting.
One thing I encourage commercial customers to do is stop thinking in terms of "change it every X miles." Instead, think in terms of how the truck is used. A truck that tows daily will usually need more frequent transmission inspections and fluid service than an identical truck driven empty on the highway.
That proactive approach is one of the reasons fleet operators keep their trucks on the road longer and avoid unexpected transmission failures.
